Iron Fist Intro and Theme Song

Ode to melanin reference…dark substance coming out of him. Note the entire figure is made up of this dark color yet in the form of a white male. His mind and body guide the flow of the dark essence. Then it moves to a climactic part where the essence is swirled around him.

Iron Fist Origins

He has energetic control of the essence  shifting it upwards with his hand movements (what he does); He reaches up and the swirled circle (chaos reference) bends shape to an up side down cone as he is reaching both hands up to the sky…then busts out in to a round house kick with embers coming from the essence. Embers are small flickers of light not strong enough to ignite to a full flame. Then the Iron fist logo is shown in front of a white mist with a faint dense dark city as the back drop outside of the white mist. Catch all the subtle pieces of symbolism shown…?

Every time the Iron Fist Used His Iron Fist on Marvel’s Iron Fist (Season 1)

Marvel’s Iron fist opening scene starts with the sound of “Fresh and Clean” from Black hip hop music group Outcast. Camera view at feet level, white lady with orange shoe flats enters the scene to walk through the black shoe.  The camera shifts down to the ground filming many black dress shoes walking on the pavement in down town sophistication.

Marvel’s The Defenders – Luke Cage VS Iron Fist

Then they film a white man’s bare white feet, in a camera trick (the viewer does not expect the jab of juxtaposition) walking to the right of the screen. Gives one an instant emotional trigger of ruggedness, unsophisticated, going in another direction, freedom of self expression, two white feet among many black feet/black shoes….Then like most movies or TV shows. One of the first faces you see is either a black man or a black woman. This time it is a black man and it happens in a flash of a movement across the screen walking in the left direction of the screen.
