Psychological Slavery of Black People in the Media [Part 2]

The Cress Theory of Color-Confrontation and Racism (White Supremacy): A Psychogenetic Theory and world Outlook (1970) by Dr. Frances Cress Welsing (Author). Unlike religion, the body of knowledge know as science takes the position that all observable phenomena can be explained, or, at least, is grist for the mill of investigation, analysis and understanding by the human mind.

In today’s very small world at least three-quarters of the people are “non-white,” and the members of this “non-white” majority population are subjected to domination throughout their lives, either directly or indirectly, by a tiny minority of the world’s people who classify them-selves as “white.” Racism (white supremacy) then, is revealed as one of, if not the most important observable phenomenon in the world today for which social, behavioral and all other scientists should be seeking an explanation.

Heretofore, racism has been defined and described variously, (see Gullattee, Corner, Butts and Pinderhughes). Yet in my view, the comment made by Oliver C. Cox in his 1959 award winning text, “Caste, Class and Race” (Monthly Review Press), still prevails: It is not ordinarily realized that, of all the great mass of writing on race relations, there is available no consistent theory of race relations. The need for such a sociological explanation is so great that recently, when one author succeeded, with some degree of superficial logic, in explaining the phenomena in terms of caste relations, the college textbooks and social-science journals, almost unanimously and unquestioningly, hurriedly adopted his theory.

Neely Fuller, in his 1969 copyrighted The United Independent Compensatory Code/System/Concept: a textbook/workbook for thought, speech and/or action for victims of racism (white supremacy), recognized the need for a functional statement on racism, one that could be utilized daily by those earnestly seeking to bring about social change. Fuller observed that, contrary to most present thinking, there is only one functioning racism in the known world – white supremacy. He challenges this readers to identify and then to demonstrate the superiority or functional supremacy of any of the world’s “non-white” peoples over anyone. Concluding that since there is no operational supremacy of any “colored” people, Fuller reveals that the only valid operational definition of racism is white supremacy. He observes that in spite of any and all statements the world’s “non-white” peoples may make about themselves having economic and /or political independence and the like, in the final analysis, they are all victims of the white supremacy process. He places major emphasis on the present realities of the world that can be verified and tested, rather than on what one could imagine to be the case (such as a black or yellow supremacy). He further emphasizes that, instead of focusing on individual cases or on specific locations, a perspective that examines the patterns of relationships between whites and “non-whites” worldwide must be developed.

Fuller explains that racism is not merely a pattern of individual and/or institutional practice; it is a universally operating “system” of white supremacy and domination in which the majority of the world’s white people participate. He discounts the validity of theories that recognize the evolution of economic systems as the origin of this state of affairs. Instead, the reveals the inadequate analysis of such theories by suggesting that various economic systems – such as capitalism, communism and socialism – have been devised, used and refined in the effort to achieve the primary goal of white domination. In other words, the goal of the white supremacy system is none other than the establishment, maintenance, expansion and refinement of world domination by members of a group that classifies itself as the white “race.” Fuller then suggest that the word “race,” in this sense, has little biological validity but is translated more correctly as “organization,” the sole purpose of which is to maintain white domination and world control. Fuller’s emphasis on the concept of color amplifies the assertion made in 1903 by W.E.B. Du Bois (perhaps the greatest American social scientist) in The Souls of Black Folk, the the great problem facing the 20 century is that of the color-line.

To take Fuller’s account a step further, it should be noted that, in the majority of instances, any neurotic drive for superiority usually is fouded upon a deep and pervading sense of inadequacy and inferiority. Is it not true white people represent in number terms a very small minority of the world’s people? And more profoundly, is not “white” itself the very absence of any ability to produce color? I reason, then, that the quality of whiteness is indeed a genetic inadequacy or a relative genetic deficiency state, based upon the genetic deficiency state, based upon the genetic inability to produce the skin pigments of melanin (which is responsible for all skin color). The vast majority of the world’s people are not so afflicted, which suggests that color is normal for human beings and color absence is abnormal. Additionally, this state of color absence acts always as a genetic recessive to the dominant genetic factor of color-production. Color always “annihilates” (phenotypically and genetically-speaking) the non-color, white. Black people possess the greatest color potential, with brown, red and yellow peoples possessing lesser quantities, respectively. This is the genetic and psychological basis for The Cress Theory of Color-Confrontation and Racism (White Supremacy).

Dr Frances Cress Welsing The Isis Papers

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen. I am thrilled be here at the 4th annual Melanin Conference. I hope my eyes don’t look to tired. I was in New Orleans before but here I am. I feel that the ancestors have invoked this evening and I feel that they have giving me the charge and they can continue to give me the charge to recruit for the arm of justice. To recruit males and females, and females and males that are going to take their melanin selves and lead this army that is going to end the greatest injustice that has ever been on the planet earth. And that is the injustice of racism and the injustice of white supremacy. An injustice that I maintain began because some people had the misfortune not to have melanin. I was going to entitle my remarks the Goldmine of Melanin. There is a goldmine in melanin. But we have a problem that we have to solve before there can be the full expression of the power of melanin. And recently I got my board up her so I can go to work, recently I have begun to think about our task in terms of a pyramid. And really, we could call this army of justice. We can really begin to call ourselves the pyramid builders. And at the top of this pyramid we have justice. And we’ve got this eye at the top of the pyramid. And we can talk about that in a little while. But I say that at the base of the pyramid. Is the dynamic of truth. Truth revealed. Truth revealed about racism and about white supremacy. At this next level going up this pyramid we have to place understanding. Because we not only have to reveal truth but we have to have and understanding in depth of what it is that we have reveal. And then we have all of the areas of people activity. Economics education entertainment labor law politics religion sex and war. Those are the areas of people activity for which we have to express our understanding and our knowledge of truth. On top of the areas of people activity the next level has to do with what has happened to up. And what has happened to us is that we have learned to despise and hate melanin. And as a result of that we do not have unity and we do not have the forceful power that we need to bring about justice. Some of the forms of that hate are reflected in patterns of behavior such as gossiping, name calling, squabbling, squabbling with one another, cursing one another, being discourteous, being disrespectful, stealing from one another, robbing one another, fighting one another, killing one another, using and selling drugs to one another, this is the power of racism and white supremacy, throwing down trash, making children believe they can be adequate mothers and fathers leads to teen pregnancy, Pretending that racism does not exist.

And then we are going to put at the next layer of the pyramid so things we were taught in the principles of Kwanza [started by Dr. Maulana Karenga], Biron Hoowinda. Some things that we need to focus on. I may not have them in order and if I forget any of them help me out. Unity, Purpose, creativity, faith, self-determination, collective work, responsibility and cooperative economics. Ok. Don’t anybody come up here and try to read this. I hope your making notes. You won’t be able to read this. Atop that we’re going to put something from the work of Neely Fuller. The four uses of time for victims of white supremacy. He has suggested and recommended that we discipline our selves to use our time energy in four ways and four ways alone. 1.) is constructive conversation. Constructive conversations is discussions about racism and how we’re going to solve the problem of white supremacy. 2.) Constructive activity. That means building repairing making entrepreneuring. All kinds of things that are constructive activity. 3.) Sufficient eating and sleeping and hold your seats 4.) sexual intercourse no more than twice a week so you stop worrying about it. Is everybody with that?

Now this is what we are trying to achieve. It is a difficult task but so was it difficult to build the original pyramid. Lifting those gigantic stones that constructed the original pyramids is something akin to what it is we must do to bring about this revolution, so that there is justice on the planet and that there is piece in the universe. I want this army that I am attempting to recruit to be able to go out each and every soldier to be able to go out into the world where ever it is that they travel where ever it is that they live and to share knowledge and understanding of racism. I think that one of our greatest challenges and one of the things that is going to bring us great results is that when we use the word racism to be able to say exactly and very what it is that we are talking about. Simply to use the “R” word is not sufficient because people will come along and say well your saying that I’m racist and I’m saying that your racist. Every bodies a racist right? No! Racism means white supremacy and we can go on to detail it from that point. Racism is a global system of behavior organized by persons classify themselves as white whether consciously or subconsciously determined. The goal objective is for white genetic survival on the planet earth and to prevent white genetic annihilation. Because on this planet the vast majority of people have melanin in their skins and they are black brown red and yellow. All of those people are genetically dominant compared to people who classify themselves as white. Now that’s very long winded. But I certainly hope that we can begin to master that definition or some definition of racism so that when we use that word we can say this is what we are talking about. And If you’re talking to someone who classifies himself or herself as white and then you challenge them and you say not a hostile challenge [but] intellectual [and] analytical challenge. And you say what is the definition that you are using. And if your experience is the same as mine then they come to a halt. They are not able to succinctly describe what it is that they’re talking about but that does not stop up. Now there may be some person’s in the audience who have not heard me talk about racism so let me just drop back a little bit and share with you how I came to understand racism in way that I understand it.

I met Neely Fuller in 1967. Neely Fuller is a guard at the bureau of engraving in the district of Columbia. He had starting writing about racism during the Korean war and he made a very profound conclusion and I consider it to be profound. He said racism was a system. It’s not institutional. It is a system. A system encompasses institutions. He said racism is a system. The system is global. It is global as well as local. That means it can be here in Dallas or New Orleans but it is also all over the world. There’s no place on planet earth where racism defined as racism white supremacy does not exist. It is everywhere. He went further to say. Unlike Karl Marx, who said that economics cause racism, Neely Fuller turned that up side down and said that the system of white supremacy establishes specific patterns of

behavior in all areas of people activity. Economics education entertainment labor law politics religion sex and war, so that everything that is do 24 hours a day by this collective is for the purpose of establishing maintaining expanding and refining white supremacy. So, when I heard this gentleman say that my brain computer said that man is really saying something. And I wondered what would cause them to establish this behavioral dynamic? That have seen the places that I have been on planet earth, the few places that I have been, every place, this system was intact. I remember when I first when to Europe I thought it probably won’t be there. It was there. When I wen to Mexico it was there. Go to the Bahamas. It is there. It is everywhere, ok. So, I said why what would cause it? And I came to the conclusion that what was producing this global pattern of behavior that was causing us to have so much grief, was the fact that on this planet one tenth of the people have white skin. Nine tenths of the people are black brown red and yellow. And the black brown red and yellow people, unlike the propaganda that the people who classify themselves as white people, they were busy telling us it was the black brown red and yellow people who were genetically inferior. But indeed, it was they who were feeling genetically inadequate. Because all of the black brown red yellow people are genetically dominant in terms of skin coloration to the people who are classified as white. So, around the thirteenth fourteenth century. Or after the people who left Europe and circumnavigated the planet and found out that every place they landed. The people where colored. There was no place outside of Europe where there were people who were classified as white. Everybody on planet earth was colored. And if these white male person’s in these little boats stopped and had sexual intercourse with the ladies of color and wait for nine months they found out about genetic dominance about have a big genetic laboratory. The found out that all of the child when you mix white plus black, white plus brown, white plus red, white plus yellow, equals colored. So they learned something that was very very critical. They had found out this information from the time that people that classify themselves as white begin to come into Africa long time ago. They also found that white was genetically annihilated. By the time they circumnavigated the planet and found that there were non-white people, or people of color everywhere on the planet they understood that they had a very serious problem. And that serious problem was that white could be genetically annihilated. Now I don’t know how many people in this audience saw the time magazine cover for April the ninth. How many people saw that? Very good. Everybody should go to their library. And I believe it is April ninth. The April ninth issue of time magazine. Because their cover said what is going to happen whites are not longer the majority in this area of the world that we call the United States of America. And the prediction is that in a very short period of time by the year 2000 that the majority of people in this area of the world will be black or African, Hispanics and Asians. Now that article I recommend highly to everyone because the are talking about things are going to change for us and that there are going to be some serious problems that we are going to face. And in addition to having that statement on the cover of the magazine the picture it self was very very interesting. If you will recall there is a picture of a flag. You recall it? And the flag was a so called American flag. It had blue in the corner but it did not even have white stars. The stripes in place of the red and white stripes. They had a red stripe then a black stripe then a red stripe and then a brown stripe. And then another red stripe and then a yellow stripe. And I saw this and I said wonderful. But I said wonderful for another reason. I said wonderful because I had written a paper some time ago talking about the symbolism of the flag. And I had said that those colors red white and blue had another level of meaning other than patriotism that the red white and blue on the flag actually stood for white skin through which you could see blue veins and red arterials. And so that is the reason that most of the flags that represent people who classify themselves as white are either white and blue or white and red or red white and blue. Now beyond that I said that the flag was a symbolic abstraction of the problem. And the problem when there is a concern about genetic power is the power of the male. The reason being is because it is only men whether they are white black brown red or yellow that can impose sexual intercourse. Is that right?

Dirt: The Erosion of Civilizations 2nd Editionby David R. Montgomery  (Author)

Dirt, soil, call it what you want—it’s everywhere we go. It is the root of our existence, supporting our feet, our farms, our cities. This fascinating yet disquieting book finds, however, that we are running out of dirt, and it’s no laughing matter. An engaging natural and cultural history of soil that sweeps from ancient civilizations to modern times, Dirt: The Erosion of Civilizations explores the compelling idea that we are—and have long been—using up Earth’s soil. Once bare of protective vegetation and exposed to wind and rain, cultivated soils erode bit by bit, slowly enough to be ignored in a single lifetime but fast enough over centuries to limit the lifespan of civilizations. A rich mix of history, archaeology and geology, Dirt traces the role of soil use and abuse in the history of Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, China, European colonialism, Central America, and the American push westward. We see how soil has shaped us and we have shaped soil—as society after society has risen, prospered, and plowed through a natural endowment of fertile dirt. David R. Montgomery sees in the recent rise of organic and no-till farming the hope for a new agricultural revolution that might help us avoid the fate of previous civilizations.

Manliness and Civilization: A Cultural History of Gender and Race in the United States, 1880-1917 (Women in Culture and Society) New edition Edition by Gail Bederman

When former heavyweight champion Jim Jeffries came out of retirement on the fourth of July, 1910 to fight current black heavywight champion Jack Johnson in Reno, Nevada, he boasted that he was doing it “for the sole purpose of proving that a white man is better than a negro.” Jeffries, though, was trounced. Whites everywhere rioted. The furor, Gail Bederman demonstrates, was part of two fundamental and volatile national obsessions: manhood and racial dominance.

In turn-of-the-century America, cultural ideals of manhood changed profoundly, as Victorian notions of self-restrained, moral manliness were challenged by ideals of an aggressive, overtly sexualized masculinity. Bederman traces this shift in values and shows how it brought together two seemingly contradictory ideals: the unfettered virility of racially “primitive” men and the refined superiority of “civilized” white men. Focusing on the lives and works of four very different Americans—Theodore Roosevelt, educator G. Stanley Hall, Ida B. Wells, and Charlotte Perkins Gilman—she illuminates the ideological, cultural, and social interests these ideals came to serve.

A Troublesome Inheritance: Genes, Race and Human History Reprint Edition
by Nicholas Wade (Author)

Drawing on startling new evidence from the mapping of the genome, an explosive new account of the genetic basis of race and its role in the human story

Fewer ideas have been more toxic or harmful than the idea of the biological reality of race, and with it the idea that humans of different races are biologically different from one another. For this understandable reason, the idea has been banished from polite academic conversation. Arguing that race is more than just a social construct can get a scholar run out of town, or at least off campus, on a rail. Human evolution, the consensus view insists, ended in prehistory.

Inconveniently, as Nicholas Wade argues in A Troublesome Inheritance, the consensus view cannot be right. And in fact, we know that populations have changed in the past few thousand years—to be lactose tolerant, for example, and to survive at high altitudes. Race is not a bright-line distinction; by definition it means that the more human populations are kept apart, the more they evolve their own distinct traits under the selective pressure known as Darwinian evolution. For many thousands of years, most human populations stayed where they were and grew distinct, not just in outward appearance but in deeper senses as well.

Wade, the longtime journalist covering genetic advances for The New York Times, draws widely on the work of scientists who have made crucial breakthroughs in establishing the reality of recent human evolution. The most provocative claims in this book involve the genetic basis of human social habits. What we might call middle-class social traits—thrift, docility, nonviolence—have been slowly but surely inculcated genetically within agrarian societies, Wade argues. These “values” obviously had a strong cultural component, but Wade points to evidence that agrarian societies evolved away from hunter-gatherer societies in some crucial respects. Also controversial are his findings regarding the genetic basis of traits we associate with intelligence, such as literacy and numeracy, in certain ethnic populations, including the Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews.

Wade believes deeply in the fundamental equality of all human peoples. He also believes that science is best served by pursuing the truth without fear, and if his mission to arrive at a coherent summa of what the new genetic science does and does not tell us about race and human history leads straight into a minefield, then so be it. This will not be the last word on the subject, but it will begin a powerful and overdue conversation.
